EB-2 NIW Case Study: Lawyer (Case Denied)
A lawyer from Brazil sought EB-2 NIW; USCIS felt her 'proposed endeavor' was not of national importance.
The U.S. Immigration Service publishes decisions issued by the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) in a variety of case types. You can read the cases yourself here.
But in this newsletter, we plan to - over time - summarize various cases to help you understand what is (and is not) considered approvable. I think this is particularly important in the EB-2 NIW area, where the standards are very subjective and misunderstood. By reading the denials and understanding the logic of the appeals office, hopefully people will be able to build profiles to succeed in EB-2 NIW.
This is my first case study. I welcome your comments.
[And yes, you are going to pay for these if you want to read them!]
