EB-2 NIW Case Study: Surgeon and Medical Researcher (Case Approved - Another one really fast!)

Last week, 8/15/2022 week, we had an EB2 NIW petition approved in 3 months; now a second EB2 NIW petition has been approved in 3 months; this one by the Nebraska Service Center. Details in this post.

Recently we received an EB-2 NIW petition approved by the Texas Service Center in 3 months for a Biochemist. For this newsletter, I did a case study on that case, which you can find here.

We just got our second approval, also in 3 months.

This second one was for a European surgeon and medical researcher in the US on a research-based J-1 visa. After the paywall below you will find more details on the case, including some interesting issues about the two-year home residence requirement, a name change, and how we are handling his wife and child who are still abroad.

Two cases is not a trend but it would be great if USCIS kept up this pace!
